Nap time

I'm at the awkward stage with Rosie where you ask yourself "to nap or not to nap." She's tired, a bit fussy and needs a nap, but is it worth it?? This is what she does to her room...every time - destroys it. Everything is out of the drawers, toybox and what she can reach in her closet is ripped down. This particular day she must have worn herself out, she did end up napping and when I walked in her room she had her hot pink undies on her head!

Seriously, this is why Savy is sleeping in her crib until she is nine. Sean is trying to convince me it is time to take her out. No way.

I don't really think age is an issue here. My girls do the same thing to their rooms.

Tyler does the exact same thing! I've pretty much given up on naps. The only way he'll go to sleep is if I go for a ride in the car. We've just settled on going to bed around 6:30 or at least by 7 p.m. He sleeps a solid 12 hours, sometimes more. Every once in awhile I'll be like, "O.K. you ARE having a nap today." He's been my earliest to give up napping. :( Oh, and by the way hilarious about the hot pink undies!! Is she potty trained yet? Tyler is showing a little interest, but for now he just likes to wear his "Cars" underwear over his pants. Weirdo.

we are at the same stage with abby. I bribe her with candy on the days I need her to nap. Terrible I know.

unfortunately Grace is already fighting me with naps...fortunately (or unfortunately) she's not cranky. i think she's not really tired. on days she's tired, she sleeps. but about 1 day a week she's not tired and her crib is a disaster, not to mention her hair! i agree with heather...grace is going to be in her crib as LONG as possible!

I just lost my last comment somewhere in cyberspace, but thanks for the laugh! I'm glad I'm not alone. Entropy is alive and well!

Adorable little ballerina...what a heart-melter!

Lily is at that stage too! She'll go about every 3 days without napping and then crash on the 4th day. When I want her to nap and she won't...I resort to a movie. What can I say...I need my own space!

I've just given up with naps for Zach. He just doesn't get tired anymore when its bedtime if I let him nap. Early bedtime is working better than inconsistent nap time.

But, I could sure use a nap these days!
