Lets have a baby in 2008...

Hey Ladies, I need a bit of advice here. Can you please give me some suggestions of what has worked for you as in regards to making you go into labor? What really works? Castor oil, walking, sex?? It's an open floor, give it to me.....

Sonogram pic of Sophie

Here's our little one, we had this done a few weeks back, the whole 3D/4D images are pretty cool, but kinda strange at the same time. Anywho...here she is. I think she looks like Rosie and Bob think she looks like Nick...you decide!

Happy 38th Birthday Bubbs!

Happy 38th Birthday to my sweet husband! You are such a wonderful husband and father, we LOVE and appreciate everything that you do for us. Oh, how our lives have changed over these last 4 years, what a blessing we have been given. We are so blessed to have one another and to have an eternal family, I could never imagine my life without you and I'm so thankful to Heavenly Father every single day that I don't ever have to be without you, you do complete me. I LOVE you.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!

Tonight we had these!! Homemade soft pretzel hot dogs & pretzels! YUMMY! Just like the ones at Auntie Anne's, Nathan's hot dogs included! They are TDF! Here's the link, scroll about 3/4 of the way down. I highly recommend dipping in caramel sauce for dessert, ummm so good.

Just a few more...

I wanted to post a few more pictures for our families/friends to view from the photo shoot with Jaime the other day.

This picture is a rare occasion because Rosie is actually showing Nicolas affection, this is something she NEVER does. If Nick has it his way he'd be lovin her all the time, but she wants no part of it.

Rebecca, are you out there!? Nicolas use to go into a trance around you, those beautiful long locks twirling in his fingers, then Jack started to do it! Remember?

One thing I learned from this photo shoot is always, always bring candy (small pieces) when your trying to bribe your children to smile and be nice to each other. I did NOT. The only thing I had was gum!! Of all things...GUM!! I'm sure Jaime wanted to kill me! The gum kept showing up!

One more thing...I LOVE my job at Gymboree!! It allows me to buy adorable clothes at half off! That comes in real handy!

This is one of my favorites!

This picture really cracks me up, I guess you'd really have to be around Nicolas & Rosie to understand. But, this picture screams to me "hold still Nick!! I'm eyeing up the spot on your face where I'm going to hit you at!" She's a real bruiser. I feel fortunate that she does not hit at school, only at home...only her brother.

I totally fell in LOVE with this pink faux fur vest, it's super cute..I think deep down inside every woman wants one...along with faux fur boots to match!

Just me on my soap box...

It's been quite some time since I've blogged, I have about a gazillion reasons why I haven't. You see...I am pregnant and if some of you remember how sick I was with Rosie...well guess what???It's another girl, and were naming her Sophie. I'm finally feeling better (thanks to my amazing doctors), the kids are in school (YES!!) and I'm just feeling a little more lively (social) these days.

Oh, don't get me wrong, there's plenty of other things to do around here - but I'm tired of this house. Do you ever get tired of your house and just want to switch homes with a friend for a few weeks or so? The same 4 walls are boring me. I'm tired of the kids fighting over the same things, anyone want to switch kids for a day, maybe a half a day? If your feeling any of the same switching desires as I am, please...call me. ASAP.

Tappety, tap, tap.

It was a struggle for us to keep this costume on her, she took it off in the auditorium and was in a diaper and tights. 3 songs before she went on I was in the hallway begging her to put it on, I finally got fed up and forcefully sat her on my lap (while I was sitting on the floor) and put it on. She was ticked. But I wasn't alone!! Marti was right next to me with Mikell doing the same thing.

When we went behind stage, she saw her friends and thought she was a BIG SHOT!! It was very cute, they danced to I Wuv a Wabbit.

Nicolas was cheering for her the entire time, he was so proud. She gave us a huge smile and wave at the end.

Wheels, what wheels!!

The wheels on Rosie's bus didn't go round and round for to long...

She bent over and untied her ballet slipper. Then...sat on the floor (just like this, trying to tie her ballet slipper) entire dance!

finally...

she stood up...of course, after the song was over.

AMAZING...

This was such an amazing day that I can't even begin to explain!! It was November 12, 2005, Rosie was just 3.5 weeks old, Alisa just completed her mission in Ohio, Ralph and Teresa came too!!, Denae flew in from Arizona, Rebecca and Marcus got our children ready and Scott and April were our escorts. The place...The Palmyra Temple - what a peaceful beautiful building.

Our family (the four of us) were sealed in this temple for time and all eternity. It was truly an amazing experience and we were so happy to have our two sister missionaries there. We spoke about this day when they were teaching us and it really seemed so far away...could it ever really happen?? It did.

I have been talking to both of my sister missionaries quite a bit lately and they remind me how special this church really is. They were with me in the beginning and it's wonderful to see where all of us are today. They come from such great families and we have been so lucky because they have taken us under their wing. I love them so much and they both still bring me so much happiness and love.

Bob and I are so excited to have been blessed with another sweet baby. It's very exciting to us that our little one will be born into the covenant of our sealing. What rich blessings come from being a member if this awesome church!

Strange things happening..

I'm crawling out of my skin with energy! I'm a bit more emotional than normal. I really love, love, love my family right now, not that I usually don't...but I'm really lovin 'em up these days! I've eaten all the lime freeze pops out of the box (that would be a box of 100) and I've had 3 jars (I mean the entire jar, juice and all) of the BEST pickles ever in the last two weeks!! That would be Claussen pickles with major garlic! YUMMY!! This could only mean one thing...

there's a person growing inside me.

Funny kid...

Nicolas says some pretty funny things...often. While I was on my vacation in Utah my in-laws came from Ohio to take care of our children. My hubby just told me this the other night...
They're at Denny's eating dinner (one of Nic's favorite places- thanks to the rocket cup!)

Linda (my mother in law) says: Thanks for dinner Pappy (my father in law)!
Nicolas says: What are you thanking him for, I picked this place!!

President Hinckley

Here are a few pictures from President Hinckley's grave. I loved him and listened to his words, he was my Prophet. I am very honered to have been baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints during what I will call "The Hinckley Era." I cried for a week after he passed away, obviously for my own personal reasons. Victoria and I went to his grave on my last day in Salt Lake City, needless to say it was bittersweet.

The Prophet Joseph and his dear brother Hyrum

Those of you that know me really well, know that I have an absolute solid testimony of the Prophet Joseph. I love him dearly and I live and believe what he stood for. Thse death masks nearly took my breath away.

Friends, Friends, Friends!!

We are so lucky!! Four years ago we knew nobody in Utah, now we have an entire family there.

This is the Christensen/Harrison family. Ralph, Teresa, Myself, Alisa and Ryan. Alisa (former last name Christensen) was one of our missionaries in Ohio (she just got married last year, Ryan is her wonderful husband) We have an amazing friendship and her parents are so wonderful. When Alisa was done serving in the Ohio Cleveland Mission, Ralph, Teresa and Alisa drove to NY to see our family sealed in the Palmyra Temple. We were very, very fortunate because both of our sister missionaries were there!! I can't even begin to express how much we love both of those ladies.

Back to the picture...here we are infront of the SLC Temple, we had so much FUN that day!! All of us went to Sat. P.M. Conference together, had lunch at the church administration building and had a FUN slumber PARTY at The Christensen's home in Bountiful.

Bob & I have made so many friends with many, many missionaries from the Rochester New York Mission . I was so fortunate to see a few while I was in Utah. This is Tyler and Annalece. Arent they cute!

Elizabeth Erickson and I infront of this beautiful Christus statue at Temple Square. Elizabeth served in the Rochester NY Mission, that's where we met. It was so fun to spend the day with her and Victoria at Temple Square, we even ate at The Lion House! YUMMY!!

My BFF

Yes, I'm going to be 35 and I still have "two" BFF, we all met while serving in the United States Navy together. Deborah lives in Mt. Joy, PA and Victoria lives in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Here's Victoria and I in the church administration building. I walked into this building and made the loudest gasping sound when I saw this picture of Christ and the apostles, it's HUGE and beautiful! Does anyone know what was announced in this building infront of the same picture on Feb. 4th, 2008?
