Questions About Boys
Why is it that boys always have a bit of a funk to them? I make him shower daily, I can't stand it. I want to shave his head...BALD!! Not only does he have a funk, so does his room, now do I need to start washing the sheets more than once a week? Why is there always dirt under his nails? I use the dang nail brush every night. Do all boys go thru the knees of every single pair of pants they own? I'm serious!! Sneakers...he burns thru the soles in a month!! I admit, the boy plays hard, very hard, but is this normal?

Drama Makes the World Go Round...anyone got a problem with that??
Recently, there's much ado about HBO's "BIG LOVE" and the episode that is airing tomorrow night. I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, it's a classy one I tell ya. Instead of fighting back, they're giving you, people of the World some context behind temples. I suggest you watch this. Like I said, it's a classy one...the Church has taken the high ground & testifying of truth without controversy or confrontation.

WHY so many posts??
She had a double ear infection and then 5 days after getting off the antibiotics she got another. Just imagine a 4 week old baby...no wait STOP!!! I don't want you to imagine, it was awful and I love you all too much for that. I called my Mom and the next day...she was in my driveway.
Rosie was so happy, her Peanut came to rescue her from the big bad mean, sleep deprived mom and crying...wait screaming baby...
Yah, my kids call my Mom "Peanut"...don't ask, she's a tall woman, as tall as me! Same build and all...yes, I was cloned. Needless to say, this house was out of control and I was literally losing my mind, you see...
I even let my daughter make a shirt out of tape, the whole roll...I could've cared less.
As of today, Sophia's sleeping 12 hours a night (only waking 2X to eat) and napping as we speak, this is all new to us - we're keeping our fingers crossed. This is why I'm posting all of a sudden and I have lots more to share! Stay tuned!
Thanks to all of my wonderful friends who have been here to help! Amy, thanks for all the late nights, I don't know what I'll do when your gone. April, thanks for snapping me into being a good mom again (my baby needs sleep!) you gave me such good direction. Bubbs, thanks for being the glue that held this family together, I lOVE you.

The BIG SISTER role
Today has been a good day. Not everyday is like this you see...but that's life with 3 children. Rosie is so wonderful with Sophia, she LOVES her and enjoy's playing with her. She acts like such a mom (when she feels like it, but when she's on, she's on!) She always comes into Sophia's room in the morning and will play with her and talk to her, she's even got her own stool. This morning Sophie was in her crib watching her mobile and listening to Rosie and I ran downstairs to quickly grab something. The monitor in the kitchen was on and I could hear Rosie's sweet voice talking to her little sister, it was the sweetest thing.

Yes, she has red hair.
I thought the tablecloth was appropriate, it matches perfectly with her red hair. Sophie is sure to have made her ancestors from Londonderry, Ireland proud!
Bipple's
There's obviously much talk around our house about nursing (boobs, nipples, etc.) Nicolas was eating a snack of strawberry slam Yogo's the other day and he said "Mom! look a yogo with a bipple!" Umm. Nick, that would be a nipple and please don't go round telling everyone you ate a bipple and that your mom's are hanging out all the time!
Sophie's Daily Spa Treatments
Warm water and a big towel wrapped around her...
isn't this is the life.
A little massage with lotion and you've got...
one happy girl!
A little note about the frog towel, we've had it for 6 years, it was Nick's. See Mom...I don't sell everything!

for Scott & April...
I totally forgot about the exersaucer in my basement till I saw it at your house...I thought to myself "what a great idea, the baby will love it!"
The baby's BIG sister loves it a little more!!
Look strange to you??The baby's BIG sister loves it a little more!!
